Today’s poll . . . Trump leads

April 15, 2011

Donald Trump leads in today’s poll by Public Policy Polling, with 26%; Mike Huckabee is 2nd with 17%; Mitt Romney has 15%; Newt Gingrich 11%.

In the CNN/Opinion Research poll, the two men – both of whom are publicly mulling bids for the White House but have made few preparations in terms of campaign infrastructure and travel to key early states – top the poll with 19 percent support apiece.

While Huckabee retained the same level of support in the poll a month earlier, Trump jumped nine percentage points.

Sarah Palin took third place with 12 percent, the same amount of support as in the March poll.

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, who announced the launch of his presidential exploratory committee Monday, was tied in fourth place with 11 percent alongside former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

Interesting, huh?

One Response to Today’s poll . . . Trump leads

  1. quiet man says:

It shows either the terrible weakness of our political leaders, or the deep hunger we all have for a real leader. Recall the left did not want a leader so they voted in Obama. With Kerry it was anyone but Bush and with Obama they tried to pretend that no experience or track record was good enough to be President and that Europe would like us again if we kissed their collective butts.

Trump is not really an ideal choice in many ways..but no matter what, he has the guts to call the left out and then answer them…none of that compassionate conservative crap.

What if he were Gingrich’s VP, or vice versa?
